PENGUINS vs RED WINGS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from Joe Louis Arena, Detroit

Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings take the ice for preseason action live from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. The game can be live streamed here. Pittsburgh fans can hear all of the action on 105.9 The X while Detroit fans can do the same on 97.1 The Ticket.

Pittsburgh is 2-3 in the preseason so far and plays its final exhibition matchup while Detroit is 3-2 and has two games left after this one.

The Red Wings defeated the Penguins 2-1 in Pittsburgh on Sept. 22 in their preseason opener.

Sidney Crosby will make his preseason debut for the Penguins tonight after being sidelined with an undisclosed injury. Evgeni Malkin, however, has not been cleared to practice yet as he also is dealing with an undisclosed injury.

"As far as I know, he hasn't been cleared to work out," coach Mike Johnston told The Pittsburgh-Tribune Review. "Once he's cleared to work out, it will be a progression to get on the ice."

Crosby is the reigning Hart Trophy winner after leading the league with 68 assists and 104 points last season while adding 36 goals. Malkin was second on the team with 72 points last season off of 23 tallies and 49 helpers while Chris Kunitz put together 35 markers and 33 assists to rank third on the team with 68 points.

Detroit is entering its final season with Mike Babcock under contract, and the head coach isn't willing to talk about an extension by the time the season starts.

"I don't think it's going to be my final year here. If it is, it is," Babcock told NHL.com. "I've tried to live my whole life in the present, so what happened yesterday doesn't matter. What we're doing today does matter and we'll get on with it tomorrow. I'll get up every day and try as hard as I can, as I always have."

The Red Wings were led by Daniel Alfredsson and Niklas Kronwall last season as each had 49 points apiece. Alfredsson, who is still questionable to play this season due to a nagging back, put up 18 goals and 31 assists last season while Kronwall notched eight markers and 41 helpers.

The Penguins and Red Wings continue their preseasons when they clash in a Stanley Cup Final 2008 and 2009 rematch tonight at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
