Today at 4:25 p.m. ET, the Chicago Bears (2-3) and Atlanta Falcons (2-3) take the field at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta for NFL Week 6 action. The game can be live streamed here. Chicago fans can hear all of the action on WGN 720 while Atlanta fans can do the same on 92.9 The Game.
Chicago is looking to avoid a three-game skid after losing 31-24 to the Carolina Panthers in Week 5 while Atlanta is also trying to end a two-game losing streak after dropping their last game to the New York Giants by a 30-20 margin.
Devin Hester, who has scored all but one of his 20 return touchdowns for the Bears, will face his old team for the first time as a member of the Falcons this afternoon.
"I wasn't happy the last three, four years in Chicago, because things [weren't] going the way I expect," Hester told ESPN of his limited role with the Bears. "I would always have a great camp, have all the receivers saying and coaches saying I had the best camp out of all the receivers. And once the season start off, I'm not there."
Hester has enjoyed catching passes from Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan, who is 130-for-197 (66.0 percent) for 1,579 yards this season with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions behind a banged-up offensive line.
Ryan's best target thus far has been Julio Jones, who has 40 receptions for a team-best 552 yards with three touchdowns.
The Falcons are hoping to get running back Steven Jackson going as he has averaged just 3.8 yards per carry and hasn't carried the ball for more than 54 yards in a game yet this season. Still, Jackson leads the team with 238 rushing yards on 63 attempts and has found the end zone twice.
Jay Cutler will look to get the Bears out of their rut and he is 130-for-191 (68.1 percent) for 1,295 yards with 12 touchdowns and six picks.
Cutler will look to get wide receiver Brandon Marshall going as he has just 19 receptions for 188 yards, though he does have five touchdowns.
"We want him obviously to have more productivity," coach Marc Trestman told ESPN. "When he touches the ball, good things happen. And over the last couple of weeks, we haven't been able to get that done."
Alshon Jeffrey has paced Chicago with 359 receiving yards off of 26 catches with two scores.
Running back Matt Forte is still in search of his first touchdown, but he leads the Bears with 319 rushing yards on 82 carries.
Both teams look to avoid three-game losing streaks when the Bears and Falcons clash in NFL Week 6 action live from the Georgia Dome tonight in Atlanta.
