Colt Cabana Podcast CM Punk: Backstage Reaction To Interview, Ryback Responds [VIDEO]

With the wrestling world buzzing over CM Punk's interview on Colt Cabana's podcast this past week, there has been a lot of negative reaction backstage in the WWE.

Multiple outlets have reported that Triple H wants to "kill" Punk for what he's said and that the bridge between Punk and the WWE is burned as "The Game" and Stephanie McMahon are both livid.

While most of the higher-ups in the WWE are angry, F4WOnline.com reported that the majority of the talent in the locker room thought that the "Best in the World's" appearance on the Art of Wrestling podcast was awesome.

It is believed that not many people speak out in the company when they're upset like Punk was able to do. While Punk wasn't liked by everyone during his time backstage, there appears to be some respect for what he said.

Though Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are "fuming," Vince McMahon is said to be upset but not to the level of his daughter and son-in-law. McMahon is slated to appear in an interview with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin following Monday Night RAW, but it's unlikely he'll say much about the situation if anything.

Punk and Triple H have had their problems as Punk believes "The Game" delayed his momentum three years ago while Punk also recalled telling Triple H he didn't want to wrestle him at WrestleMania XXX last April.

Punk brought up a situation where he talked to Triple H about the possible match between the two on the podcast.

"All due respect, I do not need to wrestle you, you need to wrestle me. I do not want to wrestle you. I seriously resent you for not putting me over three years ago when you should have," Punk said the conversation with Triple H went during the podcast. "That would have been best for business but you had to f--king come in and squash it. And then I had to lose to f--king Truth and Miz. It didn't make any business sense then, it doesn't make any business sense now, and I am in a position now where I can tell you that I don't have to nor do I want to wrestle you at WrestleMania. I don't care if I was supposed to win.'"

Punk is said to be on the WWE's no-call list while Cabana is on the company's sh-- list for facilitating the interview.

Cabana, who is good friends with Punk, took to his Twitter to address the news that he is on bad terms with the WWE:

Cabana also sent out an explanation to his subscribers on his mailing list. "Punk has had this incredible story basically kept to himself for a long time now," he wrote, according to Wrestlingheadlines.com. "There's been so many people bugging and pushing and intruding. I hope this gives HIM closure & I hope it gives YOU closure." Another person who Punk ripped in the interview was Ryback, who he said took 20 years off of his career in the ring and was a "steroid guy." Ryback responded with a series of tweets he then deleted, but he left one with Punk being placed through a table.

Regarding Punk, he recently emerged in a video alongside his friendly rival Bailey, the Los Angeles Kings mascot, at a recent NHL game between L.A. and the Chicago Blackhawks

:

It appears as though Punk and the WWE will never be on good terms again after the recent outburst.
