There is some speculation among WWE fans that Paul Heyman's comments when he was hyping the Chairs Match between Ryback and Kane at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs (and stairs) on Sunday were in reference to CM Punk's insults about "The Big Guy."

Punk went on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast to reveal the things that led to his WWE departure and he called Ryback a "steroid guy" and said he hated wrestling him because he was dangerous and took "20 years off my career."
When previewing the bout between Ryback and Kane, Heyman said that Ryback was dangerous and that he hurts people. Heyman, who was Punk's manager before he left the company and has always been an advocate of the "Best in the World," also said that people don't want to get in the ring with Ryback.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that there is a consensus among some people that Heyman may have been hinting at Punk's comments on the podcast.
Ryback ended up defeating Kane in the Chairs Match at TLC, but it's unknown if Heyman was taking a tongue-in-cheek approach to promoting the match.
Punk revealed on the podcast that he was fed up with the way that the WWE was handling his injury protocol and also said that he was upset over being creatively stifled when he was rising to popularity in 2011.
Punk walked out on the WWE in January after his frustration boiled over on the day after the Royal Rumble prior to a live edition of Monday Night RAW.
The former WWE Champion then mentioned on the podcast that he received his termination papers in the mail from the WWE on the day he married WWE Diva AJ Lee.
Punk shocked the world earlier this month when he announced that he has officially joined UFC at UFC 181 in Las Vegas. It's unknown who his first opponent will be, but he is expected to have his inaugural fight for the promotion in six or seven months.
