Malone had a stint in WCW and participated in a match with fellow former NBA player Dennis Rodman at the company's Bash at the Beach event in 1998.

The match was by no means a classic, but it saw Malone team up with Diamond Dallas Page to take on Rodman and WWE Hall of Famer "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan. The Hogan and Rodman duo won after outside interference from The Disciple allowed Hogan to get the pin on Page.

Malone was on Fox Sports 1 and discussed a potential comeback to the squared circle and with the WCW now defunct, he has set his sights on the WWE and "The Beast."

"I'm waiting on that call from WWE," Malone told the show. "I'm waiting on them to call me because I'm gonna get back in the ring with them. If I make a comeback, I'll make a comeback with WWE how about that? I want Brock Lesnar. I'm calling him out. I want Brock Lesnar."

Malone, nicknamed "The Mailman," may not have had a memorable stint in professional wrestling, but he had a great career in the NBA.

The 6-foot-9, 280 pound Malone is a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player (1997 and 1999) and a 14-time NBA All-Star.

Malone, 51, was drafted by the Utah Jazz with the 13th overall pick in the 1985 NBA Draft. He spent 18 years with Utah before winding down his career with one final season with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Malone played in 1,476 games in his legendary career, averaging 25 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

Lesnar is currently the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and is gearing up for a big title defense at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California.

If he survives that, "The Beast" may next encounter "The Mailman."
