Tim Duncan Divorce Update: Spurs Star Remains Mum As Gay Rumors Swirl, Divorce Proceedings Unfold

Representatives for San Antonio Spurs star Tim Duncan have yet to publicly respond to allegations his soon-to-be ex-wife makes in court papers asserting she suspects he may be gay or at least bisexual.

Duncan and his wife of twelve years are embroiled in a bitter divorce that only seems to grow more contentious with each passing day. Amy Duncan formally filed for divorce from her one-time college sweetheart back in March, stating that the couple's marriage was "insupportable" because of discord and conflict.

The pair are expected back in court sometime this summer, as at the time of her filing lawyers for Duncan successfully petitioned the court to have proceedings delayed until at least 30 days after the end of his NBA season.

In the meantime, gossip blog Hollywood Street King (HSK) is reporting sources allege Duncan has been involved in a gay relationship with the same, unidentified man since his days at Wake Forest. Amy Duncan even alleges the man lived with the couple for as long as two years after they were married and only moved out after Duncan secured a home for him.

HSK adds Duncan is now seeking to secure a gag order against his wife and her team of attorneys. Still other sources have told the media the couple’s relationship has long been on the rocks because both of them have been cheating on one another.

"Amy treated Tim like a b*** throughout their marriage because she knew he was f**** his BFF. Tim knows Amy was cheating on him but he's willing to give her whatever she wants, because he doesn't want Amy to tell the world that he's bisexual," HSK reported a source close to the situation noted.

News reports also indicate that Tim Duncan hired a private investigator to begin tailing his wife as far back as a year ago. Duncan’s attorney have indicated he plans to enforce the prenuptial agreement the couple signed at the time of their union, which came four years after he was selected as the first pick in the 1997 NBA draft.  Just last year, Duncan inked a 3-year, $36 million extension with the team.
