Reports indicate that the following was taped Tuesday night for the episode of SmackDown that's set to air this Thursday from Evansville, Ind. in the final episode before Payback this Sunday.
Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton Set For SummerSlam?
In the main event, Roman Reigns defeated Kane in a match that involved weapons and a stipulation that it must be decided by pinfall or submission. The leader of the Roman Empire stood tall and celebrated after the bout to end the show.
Dean Ambrose kicked off SmackDown to cut a promo about RAW and Payback and he was interrupted by Reigns. Kane then came out and put the "Lunatic Fringe" in a bout with Sheamus.

Ambrose defeated the "Celtic Warrior" after hitting him with an uppercut and scoring a quick pin.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was also in action against Ryback, but the match was delayed after Bray Wyatt attacked "The Big Guy" in the entranceway. "The Architect" then thought he had the bout won by forfeit, but Ryback decided to give it a go anyway in a losing effort.
Ryback had cut a promo on Wyatt earlier in the night while Rusev and Lana also had some screen time in the ring and the Ravishing Russian apologized for her behavior in acknowledging the fans' approval and doing the Fandango dance a few weeks back.
Naomi and Tamina Snuka also cut a promo on The Bella Twins and elsewhere Adam Rose and the Rosebuds also had a segment.
In other action, Tyson Kidd defeated Kofi Kingston with the Sharpshooter while Neville defeated Bo Dallas, who cut a promo mocking Daniel Bryan, with the Red Arrow. King Barrett was on commentary for Neville's match and then cut a promo on him afterward.
This episode of SmackDown will air just three nights before Payback and it continued the buildup to the huge event.
