Houston Rockets Rumors: Mark Cuban Admits Defeat Over Comments About An NBA Rival [VIDEO]

The Houston Rockets finished off the Los Angeles Clippers yesterday in a lopsided game 7. The Rockets will face the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals after appearing to be finished just over a week ago. But they came back from a 3-1 series deficit, and now even one of their rivals is giving them respect.

Coach Spo On The Hot Seat?

Mark Cuban loves to stir the pot, and he was confident that his Dallas Mavericks would take down Houston in the first round of the playoffs. Here is what he had to say at the time:

"[The biggest difference is] practice time. There's no more predictable team than the Rockets. You know exactly what they're gonna do. But James Harden is so good. That's what analytics have begot. Right? Predictability. If you know what the percentages are, in the playoffs, you have time to counter them. Whether you're good enough to do it is another question. Because they are very talented, and James Harden, I think, is the MVP. Because that's not a very good team over there."

Kevin Love To Stay In Cleveland Following Injury?

The Rockets beat the Mavs in five games, and after completing their dramatic series comeback against the Clippers, Cubes offered up his respect on Twitter.

Houston got contributions from everyone down the stretch in the series, particularly during their monster comeback in game 6. They still head into the Western Conference Finals as underdogs, but if they play with the same level of fire that they showed against L.A., then it would be unwise to count them out.
