WWE Rumors: Vince McMahon's Leaked Rules For Announcers Reaches Internet [VIDEO]

There have been a lot of stories over the years that Vince McMahon can be very demanding and particular when it comes to his announcers and some of that has leaked out online.

3 Potential WrestleMania 32 Opponents For Steve Austin

On Squared Circle, the subreddit of professional wrestling, a user has posted a nine-page list of rules and advice for WWE announcers that was handed out a few years ago.

The pages include direction on how the announcers should dress, the tone that they use and the way they should describe certain things.

The entire document can be viewed here.

The document has a lot of interesting pieces of information, especially where it tells announcers to avoid the word "choke" and to never call any title a "strap."

There were reports after this year's Hall of Fame ceremony that McMahon was upset over Shawn Michaels calling the WWE Championship "the strap" during his induction speech for Kevin Nash.

There is also a list of "don'ts" where the document specifies what announcers shouldn't do. It tells commentators not to ever say that the talent doesn't care about the match and it specifically says, "don't call blood."

Some other interesting notes include directives from McMahon himself, such as not calling WrestleMania the "Granddaddy Of 'Em All" anymore.

The WWE has gotten rid of that term and replaced it with "The Show of Shows" in recent years.

McMahon also doesn't want the athletes to be called "pro wrestlers" as he wants them to be known as "stars" or "superstars" and he also doesn't like "pro wrestling," being called, hence the push of "sports entertainment."

The WWE also doesn't like the word "fan" used and McMahon would rather them be referred to as "you," though in more recent times with the term "WWE Universe" coined, that is likely the new directive.

The pages offered an interesting look into the behind-the-scenes nature of the WWE.
