WrestlingDVDNews.com revealed the cover art on Friday as it depicts The Vigilante holding a baseball bat while the backdrop is a large picture of Sting's face and makeup.

The DVD is due to be released on Oct. 13 and will also feature a special "Road to WrestleMania 31" chapter that chronicles Sting's journey to his WWE debut match with Triple H.

The release will also feature behind-the-scenes interviews with former WCW president Eric Bischoff, WWE Superstar-turned-executive Triple H and WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, as well as others.

The DVD synopsis promises that fans will get a "glimpse into the man behind the black and white paint" and that they'll be able to go behind the scenes with the wrestling icon.

Sting rose to stardom as the face of WCW and eventually etched out a Hall of Fame career with TNA.

After many years of close calls between the two sides, "The Vigilante" burst on the scene in the WWE in November, when Vince McMahon was finally able to come to terms with him on a deal.

Sting then appeared at Survivor Series that month and got involved in the Team Authority vs. Team Cena match on Nov. 23 in St. Louis. The Vigilante helped the babyface team get the win and temporarily put The Authority out of power.

After making his first shocking debut appearance on RAW, Sting faced Triple H -- who was angry in storyline over Sting's involvement at Survivor Series -- in a clash at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Sting's first WWE bout was memorable, but he was booked to lose in a battle that saw outside interference from the original nWo (Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash) and D-Generation X (X-Pac, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and eventually Shawn Michaels).

Sting's in-ring future is up in the air, but he said he'd be willing to return the WWE if it ever came to him with an offer.

Regardless of whether or not Sting ever wrestles again, he's had an amazing career inside the squared circle and his fans can watch his journey when the DVD is released on Oct. 13.
