Matt Schaub Harassed? Texans Fan Criticize QB At His Doorstep For Multiple Pick Six Performances [VIDEO]

Matt Schaub is having a nightmarish couple of weeks on the football field, but now the horror story has followed him home. Schaub, who has set a grisly NFL record by throwing an interception that was returned for a touchdown in four straight games, had a disgruntled fan show up to his house to criticize him, according to reports.

Yahoo! Sports reports that law enforcement officials responded to a call from the NFL that Schaub was being accosted by a fan outside of his house that may have also been taking pictures of his family. No arrests were made, as when police showed up the critical fan had already left the Houston Texans' quarterback's home on their own.

So far this season, Schaub is 135-for-212 (63.7%) for 1,366 yards with eight touchdowns and an alarming nine interceptions. Due to the fact that his interceptions outweigh his touchdowns, it has led people to be critical of the quarterback on television, the radio and social media, but to have an agitated fan show up to his house is a whole new low.

Schaub has helped lead Houston to the playoffs in back-to-back seasons and the Texans made the franchise's postseason debut in 2011 under Schaub. Schaub has been a member of Houston for the last seven seasons after spending three with the Atlanta Falcons, and through the first five games he's certainly seen happier times.

The team finished first place in the AFC South the last two years, with Houston going a franchise-best 12-4 last season with Schaub under center, but this season the results aren't there yet as the Schaub-led Texans have gone 2-3 and are looking up at the Tennessee Titans (3-2) and Indianapolis Colts (4-1) in the division.

While Houston has had some regular season success the last couple of years, it has never gotten past the divisional round of the playoffs as it lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the second round in 2011 and did the same thing last year when it fell to the New England Patriots.

Houston is coming off a 34-3 loss to San Francisco on the road in Week 5 where Schaub had a horrifying afternoon and threw three interceptions while throwing for 173 yards and not completing a single touchdown pass.

Schaub's season has frustrated so many fans of the Texans, that some of them were willing to follow him home and tell him about it.
