Pittsburgh Steelers Rumors: Antonio Brown 'Not Looking Good' For Broncos Game [VIDEO]

Pacman Jones said that Antonio Brown “deserves a Grammy,” for his performance this weekend after getting clocked in the head and concussed by Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict. The Steelers’ star wide out was accused of “winking” at Jones after the brutal hit, although on replays he looked unconscious for a few moments.

Clearly Jones meant an Academy Award, or possibly a Golden Globe, since both of those are acting awards, while the Grammys are for the music industry. In any case, if Brown really was acting, the latest update on his condition should win an award. Brown is “not looking good” for Sunday’s tilt vs. the Broncos in the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs, so either Brown’s badly hurt, or he’s extremely committed to his role as a concussed football player.

Vote On Who Is Most To Blame For The Bengals Loss

Here’s the hit in question where Brown was allegedly flopping.

That play essentially handed the Steelers the win. On top of the 15-yard personal foul penalty Burfict incurred from delivering that shot, Jones then took another 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct after getting into it on the field with Steelers coach Joey Porter. The 30 yards gifted to Pittsburgh set up a 35-yard field goal for Chris Boswell, who won the game.

Betting Against Peyton Manning In The Cold Is A No-Brainer

If Brown misses this week’s game against the top-seeded Broncos, however, it won’t be considered much of a blessing. Brown was a borderline MVP candidate, hauling in 136 passes for 1,834 yards and 10 touchdowns this season. It was his second consecutive campaign with at least 129 receptions, and more than 1,600 yards.

Burfict has been dealt with harshly by the NFL, as they’ve suspended him for the first three games of next season for repeated dirty hits.
