Nick Young, Iggy Azalea Wedding Rumors: 'Swaggy P's' Cheapness May Lead To Low-Key Nuptials

For a man with the nickname "Swaggy P," Nick Young's wedding certainly sounds as though it will be lacking in swag.

The Lakers player is planning for his nuptials with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, but when it comes to tying the knot, Young is looking to keep things low-key -- much to his fiancée's chagrin.

Impending Wedding Is Ruining Nick Young's Chance To Shine

"We'll get married at the courthouse," Young told TMZ after making wedding plans with his bride-to-be over dinner. "She's talking about spending a lot."

Azalea then interrupted by summing up why Young wants to keep things on the down low.

"He doesn't want to pay for s--t," the 'Fancy' singer said.

For the record, Young will make over $5 million this season and is in the midst of a four-year contract that pays him north of $21 million. Azalea isn't doing too badly either, as her net worth is pegged around $10 million, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com.

Though he doesn't feel like spending on a wedding, Young at least offered up some advice for men everywhere who are looking to propose to their significant others. The former first-round draft pick said the key to proposing is to drink a bottle of Hennessy beforehand.

Swaggy P and Azalea aren't the only noteworthy couple that wants to keep things simple come their wedding day.

Retired legendary Yankees captain Derek Jeter proposed to model Hannah Davis in October, but the details for their eventual wedding have been very scarce. Davis admitted that she was keeping the details under wraps because she's hoping no one comes and it'll be a private affair.

"I can't give anyone info, because I don't want anyone to show up," Davis said on 'Access Hollywood Live' in November. "We're so private."

It seems Jeter and Davis are battling Young and Azalea to see which high-profile couple can have the most boring wedding.
