Lamar Odom's recovery has been miraculous, but his latest feat didn't exactly sit well with his children.
The former NBA star may not be 100 percent, but he's bounced back remarkably from his near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel in October. Last week, he even managed to get on a plane with Khloe Kardashian and fly across the country to New York City.
Lamar Odom & Khloe Kardashian Are A Couple Again
Odom and Kardashian went to the Big Apple for Kanye West's Yeezy Season 3 party last Thursday, but returned to Los Angeles the following day. Though it was a tremendous accomplishment to get on a plane, Odom's kids were none too pleased.
The ex-NBA player has a daughter Destiny, 17, and son Lamar Jr., 13, with ex-wife Liza Morales.

"He didn't see his kids when he was in NYC and the kids were upset," an insider told Us. "They were supposed to come out and see him, but Lamar has been embarrassed to call them and they are angry."
It's understandable that facing his kids is a difficult thing to do after committing the acts that nearly cost him his life in the first place, but his children spent Christmas with him in the hospital in Los Angeles before he was released. His kids were also by his side when he was fighting for his life in October.
Odom and Kardashian are reportedly back together despite their tumultuous history, and perhaps the former Laker is prioritizing getting his relationship back off the ground over seeing his kids.
It's one thing to be embarrassed, but as his near-death experience proves, he shouldn't take anything for granted.
