When it came to making his first public appearance, Khloe Kardashian was more uneasy than Lamar Odom appeared to be.
Just months after his near-fatal overdose in a Nevada brothel, the two-time NBA champion continued his miraculous recovery by flying across the country to New York City. Flanked by his wife, Odom attended Kanye West's Yeezy Season 3 fashion show.
In this Sunday's upcoming episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," it delves into the developments that led to Odom making the cross-country flight to attend the show. And it seems Kardashian was way more nervous about it than her husband.
In the episode, Odom is calm about making the trip to New York City, while Kardashian is in full-fledged panic mode.
"You're just chilling right?" Kardashian says to him in the episode, according to E! News. "You don't have anxiety only I do, great."
The former "Kocktails with Khloe" host then reveals their plans to go to the Big Apple together.
"I've decided to go to New York with Lamar because I think this is something he truly wants to do, and at the end of the day I want Lamar to be happy," she explains. "I still feel a ton of anxiety and pressure but if this makes him happy and I can keep him safe, then that's a match made in heaven."
Odom tries to understand his wife's anxiousness, but she can't quite quell it throughout the episode.
"I'm nervous like this is nerve-wracking you haven't been in public ever," she says. "I have more anxiety than you do I'm sure but it's because I don't think you understand."
Odom insisted he understood, but Kardashian had her doubts.
"I know, I know you wanna go and I know all that, but it's a lot, that's all I'm saying," she replies.
These days, things are reportedly shaky between the two, especially after Lamar was spotted out at bars drinking again. Things also seemed rocky when a source revealed he blames the Kardashian family for his downfall.
Though they halted their divorce after his near-death experience, Kardashian started rumors of a pending split when she posted a cryptic quote about letting go. She also evicted Odom's father, Joe, from his home.
One thing's for certain, these two are destined to be hot and cold together forever.
