Seth Rollins Injury Return Update: John Cena Praises 'Architect,' Who Should Return In Early June [VIDEO]

"The Architect" is restructuring himself for a comeback and one of the WWE's top faces has taken notice.

Seth Rollins has been sidelined with a debilitating knee injury since November and has been vigorously working toward a return.

John Cena, who is set for a comeback of his own after having shoulder surgery in January, heaped praise on the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion for his efforts to return to the fold.

The former Shield member was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion when he sustained a knee injury on the WWE's European Tour in November. Due to the ailment, Rollins had to relinquish his title, which was contested in a tournament leading into Survivor Series and eventually won by Roman Reigns.

Vince McMahon recently announced that several injured stars will be returning and it is expected Rollins should be back in the WWE by June 6, one week after John Cena, according to PWInsider. The publication reports that Rollins has been working out at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla., over the last week and he's nearing a return to the ring.

There have been several of workout videos featuring Rollins published recently and Cena took to Twitter to praise his former on-screen rival for his efforts to get back to the squared circle:

Rollins shocked the world by winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31 in March 2015, but his triumphant 220-day reign came to an unceremonious end due to his injury overseas during a match against Kane.

Since Rollins dropped the belt, Reigns has had three runs with it, while Sheamus and Triple H also had title reigns.

Cena recently revealed that he would be returning from his shoulder surgery four months earlier than expected on the Memorial Day edition of "Monday Night RAW."

"It's just a lot of physical therapy," Cena told 'The Today Show' last week about his quick recovery. "Normally, they think people go to physical therapy three times a week, I was going up to three times a day. So it's just a matter of doing the work. The doctors and surgeons all agree that I'm ready to go. It's gonna be mayhem! It's gonna be awesome! 'Monday Night RAW' on Memorial Day, tune in or pay the price!"
