Russell Wilson, Ciara Wedding Update: Details Emerge Over Marriage Between QB, Singer [PHOTO, VIDEO]

Ciara and Russell Wilson are officially husband and wife.

The Seahawks quarterback and R&B star tied the knot on Wednesday and took to Instagram to share a photo of themselves as a happy couple for the first time.

A judge signed off on their marriage on Tuesday and they had a ceremony on Wednesday at the Peckforton Castle in England, according to Page Six. They then posted the photo of themselves after exchanging vows, adding the caption "We Are The Wilsons."

"They are building a great relationship leading up to bigger things in the very near future for 2017," an insider told the publication.

Wilson and Ciara infamously made a public vow of celibacy until marriage, so many people are wondering when they will seal the deal -- if they haven't already.

The wedding is definitely a much-needed, happy distraction for Ciara. She's currently engaged in a legal battle with her ex-fiancé Future, whom she revealed she believes is hinting at murdering her new husband

The singer was very agitated after Future called her career washed up and insulted her parenting skills, which led to her suing the rapper for defamation.

Ciara claimed the disparaging remarks only were made as a way for him to trash her due to being "tormented" by her success and high-profile relationship.

Ciara and Future also don't agree on Wilson having a great relationship with Baby Future, as the rapper has been very clear he doesn't like the quarterback's role in his son's life. Ciara, meanwhile, has tabbed her new husband as a step-father to her son.

The problems between the parties grew so large that Ciara recently filed to gain sole custody over the 2-year-old, but it was denied by a judge in court back in May.

All of that is on the backburner for now, as Ciara is officially Mrs. Wilson.
