The WWE presented the final taped edition of "SmackDown" this week from Grand Rapids, Mich.
With the upcoming WWE Draft and subsequent brand split coming up next week when the Blue Brand goes live, this is the final taped edition of "SmackDown" and is set to air this Thursday.
In the main event, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens defeated Dean Ambrose and Sami Zayn in a tag team match after Owens distracted Zayn, allowing Rollins to hit the Pedigree and secure the win. After the match, Ambrose got the upperhand on Rollins, hitting the Dirty Deeds to end the show.
Prior to the tag match, Ambrose defeated Owens in a non-title match by DQ after Rollins interfered. Zayn then countered to set up the tag team main event.
In the women's division Sasha Banks defeated Dana Brooke via submission and it was later announced that Brooke would team up with Charlotte and Battleground to face "The Boss" and a mystery partner.
In other action, AJ Styles and Karl Anderson overcame Enzo and Cass when Styles made Enzo tap out to the Calf Crusher, while Zack Ryder defeated Alberto Del Rio with the Rough Ryder. After the Ryder match, Rusev came out and Ryder took him out. Earlier in the night, Rusev overcame Dolph Ziggler with Ryder on commentary.
There was also a MizTV segment in which the Intercontinental Champion welcomed in his Battleground opponent Darren Young and his mentor, Bob Backund. The segment ended with Backlund putting Miz in a Crossface Chickenwing.
Elsewhere on the show, Tyler Breeze toppled Kalisto after a distraction from Fandango.
This edition of "SmackDown" will air 10 nighs before Battleground, which emanates July 24 from the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
