RG3 Wife: Amid Divorce Process, Browns QB Says Goodbye To Girlfriend As Season Is Set To Begin [PHOTO, VIDEO]

Robert Griffin III is going strong with his girlfriend as the NFL season gets set to begin.

The Browns quarterback is currently going through a divorce from his wife, but he's doing well otherwise in his personal and professional life. With the Browns headed to Philadelphia to play the Eagles this Sunday, Griffin's current girflriend, Grete Sadeiko took to Instagram to post a goodbye message to him.

Griffin is in the midst of a split from Rebecca Liddicoat, with whom he has a daughter. He has been dating Sadeiko, who is a track star at Florida State, for a while.

On the field, Griffin is looking to help the Browns improve on their ghastly 3-13 record from a season ago, when they missed the postseason for the 13th straight year.

As Griffin prepares for his Browns regular season debut, his current girlfriend has tkaen to Instagram to share a goodbye message to the signal caller:

Griffin had reportedly started seeing Sadeiko behind his soon-to-be ex-wife's back. Though they grew apart amid the controversy, Liddicoat was reportedly "blindsided" by the divorce as Griffin looks to continue his relationship with Sadeiko.

The quarterback met Liddicoat in 2009 and they got engaged in 2010 before tying the knot in July 2013. They were together for three years, but they lived separately after the quarterback's soon-to-be ex-wife discovered he was seeing Sadeiko during their time together.

Griffin, 26, has completed 63.9 percent of his passes in his NFL career through three seasons and 37 games (35 starts), throwing for 8,097 yards with 40 touchdowns and 23 interceptions.

The Browns announced last month that Griffin would be their starter. Griffin went 4-for-8 for 31 yards in his final tune-up for the Browns during their 21-7 loss to the Bears in preseason Week 4 action on Thursday.
