Samsung, Apple, OnePlus, Huawei, Microsoft's Expected 2017 Smartphones

Tech giants are making their best smartphones in order to grab the top spot in the 2017 ranking. Enthusiasts are expecting different smartphones loaded with newest specifications and features.

Many rumors are bubbling up on the internet with what is being expected from speculated devices. So, here's a rundown of the 2017 amazing smartphones set to hit store shelves soon.

Samsung Galaxy S8:  As per GSM Arena, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus measures 152.38x78.51x7.94mm and Samsung Galaxy S8 measures at 140.14x72.20x7.30mm indicating that the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus variant is significantly larger than the predecessor Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

The dimensions tip screen sizes of 6.3-inch and 5.7-inch for the Galaxy S8 Plus and the Galaxy S8 respectively. Samsung is set to introduce in-house developed artificial intelligence software known as 'Bixby' in order to counter the likes of Apple's very own Siri.

The Galaxy S8 is expected to be released on March 29 as pointed by well-known tipster Evan Blass. It will then go on sale from April 21. 

OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 5: OnePlus could launch a successor to OnePlus 3T in this year. It could be either named as OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 5. Reports claim that OnePlus 5 will have the high-end metal casing, a Snapdragon 835 processor, a 5.5inch QHD display, an 8GB RAM, a 21MP or 23MP rear-facing camera, a 4,000mAh battery and Android 7.0 Nougat. And finally, the launch date is rumored to be within this year.

iPhone 8: According to Techno Buffalo, the iPhone 8 is likely to be announced in September and is rumored to feature a fingerprint reader underneath the touch screen. Also, it is speculated that the device will have a new design which includes two reinforced glass panes and a metal frame in the middle.

Apple iPhone 8 is expected to embrace Octa-core processing for the first time along with the upgraded RAM either to 3 GB or even 8 GB and no rumors are yet on the storage. There are chances that Apple might stick to the same 256GB storage.

Huawei P10: Various leaks suggest that Huawei P10 is expected to arrive in MWC 2017 and the device is expected to sport a curved screen as seen in the leaked pictures. Also, the leaked images of the phone are seen with the Leica dual-rear camera with dual-LED flash and laser autofocus on the back as in its previous model.

Huawei P10 and P10 Plus smartphones are expected to be powered with by Kirin 960 S0C coupled with 6GB RAM, Amazon's Alexa voice assistant, a support for wireless charging and will run on Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to come with an outwardly folding dual-screen display, 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard memory in addition to its expandable storage via MicroSD card, a revamped S-Pen stylus, and improvements in the battery.

Microsoft Surface Phone: Microsoft, the tech giant is expected to bring the Surface Phone to the market in coming months. The phone is expected to be powered by the latest Windows 10 OS and runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset.

The phone is rumored to come in three versions having combinations such as 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, 6GB RAM and 256GB storage, and 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. Also, it is rumored that the phone will have built-in fingerprint scanners and 5.7in AMOLED panels.
