The WWE is pretty busy at this point with WrestleMania 33 less than two months away. The latest WWE news and updates for February 14 include the status of a superstar on hiatus, the new WWE Hall of Fame inductee, a retirement announcement and more.

Eva Marie not leaving WWE

There have been rumors going around that Eva is leaving the WWE to pursue a career in Hollywood. However, a report from Cageside Seats noted that "Ms. All Red Everything" is still under contract and she not going anywhere anytime soon.

The 32-year-old superstar has not appeared on television since August 18, 2016 when he was suspended for 30 days for violating the WWE's Wellness Policy. She went on to film a movie titled "Inconceivable" due for release this year. Eva dyeing her hair black has caused a lot of speculations about her future.

Theodore Long joins 2017 WWE Hall of Fame Class

The WWE announced on Monday Night Raw that Teddy Long is the newest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017. He joins Kurt Angle and The Rock 'n' Roll Express in this year's class. While he's known by young fans as the former general manager of SmackDown, Long was a former manager and referee.

The 69-year-old wrestling personality started his career as a referee in the 1980s before becoming a manager for superstars such as The Skyscrapers, Doom, D'Lo Brown, Rodney Mack, Mark Henry and more. He was an authority figure on WWE television from 2004 to 2014.

Rosa Mendes retires from wrestling

Mendes announced her retirement from wrestling in an exclusive interview with WWE.com. She cited her new business called "TFMama" and motherhood as the reasons for leaving the wrestling business. She was employed by the WWE since 2006 but barely wrestled in matches and only serving as a valet.

Vince and Shane McMahon not backstage at Elimination Chamber

According to Cageside Seats, Vince and Shane are not present backstage in last Sunday's Elimination Chamber event in Phoenix, Arizona. There is no official word on who was in charge of the event but it was probably Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
