The Chicago Bears entered their bye week on a four-game losing streak after a heartbreaking loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9. The Bears hope to get back into the win column in Week 11 when they face the Baltimore Ravens. Here's a breakdown of this Ravens vs Bears clash.

Baltimore Ravens installed as -6.5 favorites

Now that was a shock. The Baltimore Ravens lost for the second time in three games, suffering a 22-10 defeat at the hands of the hapless Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football. Lamar Jackson struggled mightily in this contest, completing just 26 of 43 passes for 238 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

The Ravens' offense sputtered as a result with their 51-game streak of scoring at least 14 points in the regular season coming to an end. Many expected Baltimore to destroy Miami as the Ravens outscored the Dolphins, 137-16, in their previous three meetings. The opposite occurred, however, with Miami outscoring Baltimore, 16-7, in the pivotal fourth quarter.

The Ravens' ground game looked out of sorts against the Dolphins, racking up just 94 yards rushing in Week 10. Baltimore did not like that performance one bit with the Ravens deciding to waive running back Le'Veon Bell on Tuesday. He failed to rejuvenate his career in Baltimore, averaging a career-worst 2.7 yards per carry in five games played with the Ravens.

With Bell's departure, the Ravens only have three running backs on their 53-man roster. Latavius Murray and Devonta Freeman will continue to be on the top of the Ravens' depth chart with Ty'Son Williams now Baltimore's third option in the running back position.

Chicago Bears enter Week 11 as +6.5 underdogs

Chicago headed into its bye week in a state of disarray after suffering yet another defeat in Week 9. They now trail the Green Bay Packers by 4.5 games in the NFC North division after a gut-wrenching 29-27 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football. The Bears have now lost their last four outings.

It won't get any easier for them in Week 11 as the Bears will face a Ravens team that has won six of its first nine games this season. It's critical for Chicago that Justin Fields plays mistake-free football in this contest. He completed 17 of 29 passes for 291 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the loss to the Steelers.

He nearly pulled off the first signature win of his career against Pittsburgh, leading the Bears to a 27-26 lead late in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately for Fields and the Bears, they could not stop Ben Roethlisberger from engineering another game-winning drive for the Steelers.

The last two meetings between the Bears and Ravens have been close, with both games ending in overtime wins for Chicago.

Writer's Prediction

Chicago records the upset win.
