Las Vegas and Washington recorded huge wins in Week 12 to bolster their respective playoff bids. The Raiders defeated the NFC East-leading Dallas Cowboys by three points in an overtime classic while Washington held on for a two-point win over the Seattle Seahawks in their Monday Night Football matchup. Who will emerge with another win in the Washington vs Las Vegas Week 13 clash?

Washington Football Team installed as +2.5 underdogs

Washington extended its winning streak to three games with a thrilling 17-15 victory over the Seattle Seahawks at home. It was a big win for Ron Rivera's men, who jumped into seventh place in the NFC standings with a 5-6 record. It has been a remarkable turnaround for Washington, who had the second-worst record in the NFC three weeks ago.

For Washington to make it four wins in a row against Las Vegas, the run game must be firing on all cylinders once again. They punished Seattle's defensive line all evening long, racking up 152 yards rushing in that primetime counter. Washington outgained Seattle by 118 yards on the ground as they also enjoyed a 23-minute advantage in ball possession.

Antonio Gibson wreaked havoc in Week 12, running for 111 yards on 29 carries. His work on the ground was vital in giving Washington 27 first downs. J.D. McKissic was Gibson's tag team partner, running for 30 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.

Washington will be without one of its key players for the clash against Las Vegas, with kicker Joey Slye placed on the injured reserve. He suffered a hamstring injury in the win against Seattle and will miss the next three games. With Slye sidelined, Washington signed Brian Johnson to be his replacement for the time being.

Las Vegas Raiders enter Week 13 as -2.5 favorites

It was a happy Thanksgiving for the Las Vegas Raiders as they escaped Dallas with a 36-33 overtime victory over the Cowboys. It was a critical win for the Raiders, who moved to within a game of leaders Kansas City in the AFC West standings. The Raiders are now in a three-way tie for second place in the division with the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Chargers.

The win was timely for the Raiders, who entered that Thanksgiving showdown on a three-game losing skid. Derek Carr starred for Las Vegas in Week 12, throwing for 373 yards, including a monster 56-yard touchdown pass to DeSean Jackson for the first points of the contest.

The Raiders benefited from the Cowboys' penalties, with Dallas recording a franchise-record 166 penalty yards. That helped the Raiders record their first Thanksgiving win since 1968. The Raiders had lost their last two games on the holiday against the Cowboys.
