Indiana Fever makes Aliyah Boston top overall pick in 2023 WNBA Draft

Boston, who played college basketball at the University of South Carolina, was selected by the Indiana Fever, making her the number 1 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA draft. She is widely considered one of the top prospects in this year's draft class, thanks to her dominant performances on both ends of the court.

The 6'5" center was a force to be reckoned with in college. During the 2022-23 season, she averaged 13 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game. Her impressive performance earned her numerous accolades, including SEC Player of the Year and an All-American nod.
