NBA legend Scottie Pippen appeared on former teammate Stacey King's Gimme Hot Sauce Podcast, notably making a wild claim that drove NBA fans crazy on social media.

Pippen was an integral part of the 1990s Chicago Bulls dynasty, led by Michael Jordan, who won six NBA championships in eight years.

The Jordan-Pippen duo is one of the most dominant partnerships in league history.

Scottie Pippen Praises LeBron James, Disses Michael Jordan

Despite winning multiple championships beyond the number of fingers in one's hand, Pippen seemed not to hold Jordan in high regard.

Pippen did not take a side in the unending debate of who is the greatest basketball player between Michael Jordan and LeBron James, preferring fans to decide. However, he gave a bold take between the two.

Pippen called James the greatest winner in the sport, saying that he has had that opinion since James was two to three years into the NBA, according to Yahoo! Sports.

"When LeBron James leaves the game, he'll be the greatest statistical player to ever play the game," Pippen added.

The seven-time All-Star opened the floodgates when it came to his former teammate Jordan, saying that he had seen Jordan play before playing for the Bulls and concluded that he was horrible to play with.

"He was all one-on-one, he was shooting bad shots and all of a sudden we become a team and we start winning and everybody forgot who he was," Pippen said about His Airness.
