Two More Premier League Players Under 35 Signs Deal Transfers to Saudi's Pro Clubs

UEFA chief Aleksander Ceferin previously said that he is unbothered by the ongoing raid by rich Saudi professional football clubs on European leagues because the only ones who go there are those who are at the tail end of their careers.

He was referring to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, who are now both extra richer because of their new contracts. Both are above 35 years old.

Would Ceferin still not do anything with the latest news concerning the transfer of Roberto Firmino and Marcelo Brozovic?

Firmino and Brozovic are 31 and 30 years old, respectively, and have been reported to be moving to the West Asian country.

Football insider Fabrizio Romano revealed that Firmino, who has been with Liverpool since 2015, already has a verbal agreement with Al Ahli pending medical tests. He will be with the team until 2026.

On the other hand, Brozovic is set to join Ronaldo in Al-Nassr after Barcelona decided to drop its pursuit of the Inter Milan midfielder.

Not Ronaldo, Messi levels but key cogs still

Firmino and Brozovic, along with Edouard Mend, who's already in Saudi, are not Ronaldo, Benzema, or Lionel Messi-types of players, but they are still key players with their respective clubs.

The smiling Brazilian Firmino is a key cog in Liverpool's squad, including in their recent victories in the Champions League and Premier League.

Croatian Brozovic, meanwhile, is also part of the defensive department of Inter Milan, which finished as runners-up to Manchester City in UCL.

The ages of 30 and 31 are still far from father time. They are still expected to play key roles in any of the top teams in Europe.
