Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball has confirmed that he will miss the entirety of the 2023-24 NBA season, his second season absence in a row.

The 25-year-old last appeared in an NBA game on January 14, 2022, against the Golden State Warriors, putting up 15 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists in the 138-96 loss.

Ball shared the uncertainty of his injury situation right after he went down, as the doctors didn't know what his injury was when he first got hurt.

"I was seeing all type of different doctors and stuff. I was just kind of going up and down. That was really hard for me because I just didn't know what the next day was going to be like," the first Ball brother said.

He also lamented the missed opportunity of playing with the Bulls. He thinks the Bulls front office made the perfect team around him, and he felt that it's the most he's ever been involved in an organization.

"I finally got the perfect team that I felt like could fit my game and play my way and really just do what I wanted to do," Ball said.
