New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers did not hold back showing his stance regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.

The future Hall-of-Famer posted an Instagram Story on Sunday evening, wherein he was in attendance to witness tennis star Novak Djokovic in action for the US Open tournament.

Rodgers took a photo of the Serbian legend while he was about to make a serve, crossing out the Moderna logo in one of the advertisements in the background while using the hashtag #novaxdjokovic.

"Bucket list being able to witness the greatness of @djokernole in person at #arthurashestadium," the four-time NFL MVP wrote in the caption.

Moderna is one of the pharmaceutical companies that were able to produce their own COVID-19 vaccines, and it was widely used throughout the world during the pandemic.

Djokovic dominated his Sunday match against unseeded Croatian Borna Gojo, 6-2, 7-5, 6-4, at Arthur Ashe Stadium, part of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center within the Flushing Meadows-Corona public park in the Queens borough of New York City.

Djokovic and Rodgers' stance on the COVID-19 vaccine

Djokovic missed several high-profile tennis tournaments, including last year's US Open, due to his stance of not taking the COVID-19 jab.

Meanwhile, Rodgers was involved in controversy in 2021 after he previously told reporters that he was "immunized," when asked about his vaccine status.

However, when he tested positive for the virus in November of that year, the Super Bowl XLV MVP entered the protocol for unvaccinated players.
