The Cincinnati Bengals dropped their second game for the 2023-24 NFL season, 24-27, bowing to the Baltimore Ravens.

In a game that saw several players get hurt, the Bengals also took a hit in the person of Joe Burrow.

The 26-year-old limped off the field and was spotted having his calf treated on the sidelines. Burrow later said that he aggravated his strained right calf and would see how it feels in the coming days, ESPN reported.

"It's pretty sore right now. No telling how it's going to feel. So, I think we're going to take it day by day," the 2021 NFL Comeback Player of the Year quipped.

Joe Burrow had 27-of-41 passing for 222 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. In the eyes of coach Zac Taylor, the Pro Bowler made a good account of himself despite his calf issue.

"They hold their coverages as long as anybody we play against," Taylor said. "And I thought he saw it really well and did a good job efficiently leading us."

Bengals fans are not happy with Burrow

But the reality is that with a second-consecutive loss, Cincinnati Bengals fans are not happy. And Burrow was not spared from the backlash, per Bleacher Report.

Most took a shot at the NFL's highest-paid player, sharing what they thought of Burrow after getting his contract.

The Bengals will face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3. As of this writing, it remains to be seen if Joe Burrow will be available to play.
