Rockets: Dillon Brooks Back to His Old Dirty Ways — Here's His Latest Victim

Dillon Brooks continues to make a name for himself as an enforcer in the NBA, and his latest ejection is proof of that.

Now with the Houston Rockets, the 27-year-old swingman is back to his old ways in a preseason game that involved Daniel Theis of the Indiana Pacers, USA Today reported.

In the video, Theis set a pick for his teammate when Brooks landed a low blow on the German. The Canadian drew a flagrant penalty 2, resulting in an automatic ejection in the first quarter of that match.

The 6-foot-6 cager left the game scoreless in what could be a glimpse of things to come from him for the 2023-24 NBA season.

Brooks shared his part regarding the incident and appeared clueless on the latest infraction, per Adam Spolane of Sports Radio 610.

"Tried to navigate a screen. I might have tapped him below the waist, but he got right back up, and I don't know. It's just weird that every time that happens to me, I get picked on, so I guess this is a part of the reputation," Brooks explained.

With the reputation that he has built, Brooks is aware that game officials will be paying close attention to his antics when he is on the floor.

Although most of that was not seen when he suited up for Team Canada at the 2023 FIBA World Cup, several on-court incidents highlighted his last NBA season.

That included a similar flagrant penalty 2 he got for a hit he gave LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers in their NBA playoff matchup last April via ESPN.
