The Super Bowl is a national event that puts America at a standstill. Even other sports leagues give way to Americans' most favorite sport.

The beauty of the Super Bowl is that it does not matter whether you were the most dominant team in the regular season. It does not matter if your squad is not the most talented.

Everything is thrown out of the window as it is now all about grit on the biggest stage in the professional American football league.

Everyone's ready for the Kansas City Chiefs vs San Francisco 49ers showdown in Super Bowl 58.

Will they live up to many Super Bowl games that took place in the past?

Chiefs vs 49ers in Super Bowl 58 has the making of a classic. The very talented Niners, headlined by MVP candidates Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey, go up against the dominant Chiefs led by future Hall of Famer Patrick Mahomes.

The game will be played on February 11. In the meantime, here are the best Super Bowl fans can relive as they wait for the 2024 game.

1. Super Bowl XIII: Pittsburgh Steelers 35-31 Dallas Cowboys

There was just so much storyline in this 1978 match. The Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers met in a Super Bowl before, with the latter coming out on top.

For this meeting, they were both going for their third. The Cowboys were the defending champions.

It also featured a total of 26 Hall of Fame inductees.

Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw imposed himself on his way to winning the Finals MVP, the first QB to win it since Super Bowl VI. He completed 17 of 30 passes and threw for 318 yards with four touchdowns.

His top receivers, Lynn Swann and John Stallworth, combined for 10 catches and 239 yards. Roger Staubach threw three touchdown passes for the Cowboys. Running back Tony Dorsett had 140 total yards.

The Steelers and the Cowboys went back and forth in the first three quarters until they came to a moment where they needed to answer, "Who wants it more?"

Lynn Swann and Bradshaw answered the call as they connected with an iconic "flying circus" play to give their team the lead and will themselves to a 35-31 victory.

2. Super Bowl XLIX - New England Patriots 28-24 Seattle Seahawks

This is another Super Bowl game that remained undecided until the final buzzer. Two of the best tacticians in the league's history go head-to-head. The Patriots got Bill Belichick, while the Seahawks got Pete Carroll.

Both teams ended the regular season with a 12-4 record. The Seahawks were looking to become the first team to achieve a title repeat since the Patriots did it in 2004.

The Patriots won but had to do it in the most challenging and iconic way.

The Seahawks tried to one-up the Patriots' defense on a 1-yard play, but cornerback Malcolm Butler read everything and intercepted the ball to seal the score shut and win the title for the Patriots.

Butler's interception is in the 100 Greatest Plays by NFL.com, the highest of all defensive plays.

Super Bowl XLIX became the most-watched program in American television history. It also ended up as the third-most watched local television broadcast ever after Super Bowl LVII and 1969's Apollo 11 Moon landing.

3. Super Bowl XXV: New York Giants 20, Buffalo Bills 19

The Giants may still be working themselves to go back on top, and the Bills may have broken their hearts two weeks ago, but at least they have 1990.

The two franchises met in Super Bowl XXV, also known as the Wide Right Game, and is regarded by many websites and pundits as one of the best editions of the finals showdown.

The game saw both teams go for an offensive onslaught and defensive masterclass.

Super Bowl XXV is still the only finals showdown that ended with a one-point lead. It is the only one where no team committed a turnover.

The Bills were the favorites with their no-huddle offense leading to a 13-3 regular season record. It showed why in the second half when they took a 12-3 second-quarter lead.

Giants coach Bill Parcells devised a plan to outrun the opponents to take the lead by the third quarter, but the Bills would not give up and almost threatened a comeback in the last second.

Alas, Bills' placekicker Scott Norwood attempted a last-second field goal, but it only went wide right. Giants win.
