Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen will be joining the Pittsburgh Steelers next season, signing a three-year $41 million deal.
Patrick Queen is considered a top-ranked linebacker in the league. Last season he produced a career-high 133 tackles, which ranked second on a Ravens defense that led the NFL in fewest points allowed (16.5).
Queen joined Ray Lewis and five-time Pro Bowler, C.J Mosley, as the only Ravens players to record 100 tackles and at least one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in a single season.
His stats netted him a second-team All-Pro nod and a Pro Bowl selection.
This news comes a day after the Steelers signed Rusell Wilson on a one year deal.
The Steelers are setting their team up to be a likely contender for next season in a competitive AFC North. A division that could be seeing a return from Joe Burrow for the Cincinnati Bengals, an improved Ravens team that made the AFC Championship, and a Browns team that could be looking to get quarterback Deshaun Watson back healthy and build on their recent playoff appearance.

What does it Mean for the Steelers?
The Steelers would be signing one of the best linebackers in the game this off-season, joining an already stacked defense.
Pittsburgh, who finished 10-7 last season, have some of the best defense players in the league despite finishing 21st in total defense. T.J. Watt is fresh off of an All-Pro season and their secondary will include Minkah Fitzpatrick and Joey Porter Jr. While the middle of the field will be held down by Patrick Queen and Alex Highsmith.
Does Patrick Queen and Russell Wilson bring the Legion of Boom to the Steel City?
By signing Russell Wilson and Patrick Queen, it's possible the Steelers could recreate a Legion of Boom-like squad.
The Legion of Boom Seattle Seahawks went to two Super Bowls, winning one, behind their great defense and Wilson under center. The Seattle defense was led by a strong secondary and strong linebacker play, as the new Pittsburgh Steelers have.
It also saw Russell Wilson grow into one of the best quarterbacks in the league at the time. And now with an arguably more talented offense, we might see Wilson step back into his former MVP candidate type play again.
