The Golden State Warriors secured a vital 104-100 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in their matchup on Tuesday, April 2, at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.

Warriors forward Draymond Green executed an important block on Mavericks big man Daniel Gafford with approximately 1:30 remaining in the game, as the Dubs held on to a six-point lead.

This block, which injected significant momentum for the Bay Area squad, garnered praise from his Hall-of-Fame teammate Chris Paul, who was initially on the bench but entered the game shortly after the play.

"I told Dray that might've been one of the best plays I've ever seen in my career and I'm not exaggerating," the seasoned point guard said after the game.

Draymond Green concluded the play by grabbing the crucial rebound, ensuring possession for his team.

Golden State Warriors Solidify Grip on Final NBA Play-In Spot

The Warriors have solidified their hold on the final play-in spot in the NBA Western Conference with the huge win.

This comes after the Houston Rockets, who were knocking on their door following an 11-game winning streak, have now lost two straight games. 

Furthermore, the Dubs have extended their winning streak to five games, matching their best streak of the season and gaining a three-game lead over the Rockets.

They also ended the Mavericks' seven-game winning run, which was previously the longest active streak in the league.
