Joakim Noah Media Boycott? Bulls Center Hasn't Spoken Since Luol Deng Trade [VIDEO]

Joakim Noah has been shocked to the point of silence since the Chicago Bulls parted ways with pal and longtime teammate Luol Deng earlier this week.

The Bulls announced on Monday they had dealt the All-Star forward to their Central Division rival Cleveland Cavaliers for Andrew Bynum and several draft picks. In expressing his feelings, Noah has elected to let his silence do the talking.

With All-Star guard Derrick Rose already lost for yet another season with a knee injury, the Bulls now find themselves down two All-Stars and 40 percent of their opening night roster is no longer available. Just like that, a team that was expected to compete for a title has been reduced to mediocrity.

ESPN reports it's all been enough to render the usually outspoken Noah speechless. Following Friday's night road win over the Milwaukee Bucks, which, ironically enough, gave the team a season-high four-game winning streak, Noah assured reporters he would speak with them after Saturday's game against the Charlotte Bobcats.

The longer Noah continues his silence the more he faces the possibility of being slapped with a fine based on his violation of a league rule requiring all players to cooperate with the media.
