Daniel Gibson, Keyshia Cole rumors: 'Boobie' attends NBA All-Star Weekend, insists he is not retired?[VIDEO]

Former Cleveland Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson was on hand for All-Star weekend in New Orleans, where he let it be known talk of his NBA demise is greatly exaggerated.

Currently involved in a messy and public split from R&B star wife Keyshia Cole, Gibson, a free-agent, wanted the world to know he's not retired and hopefully will be fully healthy and back in an NBA uniform soon.

"People just wonder what I'm doing,'' Gibson told Cleveland.com. "I haven't worked out for any teams. I just want to be 100 percent before I do any of that. I play a lot, but I'm not there yet. When I get there, I'll play. I'm working on myself, so when I do come back and play basketball, it's at a level I'm comfortable with. I'm not trying to just play. I want to play at a high level. That's what I miss."

Based in Houston, Gibson added the break has given him time to spend more time with his three-year-old son.

"I'm just taking my time with it," he added. "Last month, with all the guys who got hurt, I got flooded with calls to come in for 10 days. I just want to be in control of the situation.''.

Gibson and Cole recently split and since that time much of their acrimony has played out over social media. Cole recently hinted she suspected her husband has been cheating after he was repeatedly spotted at a local strip club. The 27-year-old, seven-year NBA vet has denied all those allegations.
