Baltimore Ravens star running back not only allegedly punched his fiancee during their much publicized fight and dispute in Atlantic City, but knocked her out cold, then tried to drag her of sight of potential witnesses.
TMZ Sports has obtained video footage which appears to show Rice dragging an unconscious Janay Palmer out of an elevator at an Atlantic City casino. Both were later taken into custody by police and charged with assault on one another.
Soon after Palmer is seen sprawled on the ground, TMZ reports a man in a suit, talking into a security microphone approaches the scene and confronts Rice Both Rice and Palmer have since been released from custody.
TMZ adds an attorney for Rice claims neither of them has seen the video, adding that "neither Ray nor myself will try this case in the media." He later added "however, the video that's being posted by TMZ Sports is not the complete event, but is merely the end result of what transpired. We'll assure the public that when this matter is fully tried and completed, you'll have a better understanding of what happened and we ask the public to reserve making any judgment until all of the facts come out."
