Jadeveon Clowney signs Puma endorsement deal, Texans taking him first overall? [VIDEO]

Jadeveon Clowney has inked an endorsement deal with sports apparel giant Puma, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Rovell tweeted on Tuesday "looking like Jadeveon Clowney is going to sign with Puma. Won't be able to wear their logo on NFL field."

It's been a whirlwind two days for the former South Carolina star, widely considered to be the best player in this year's NFL Draft. ESPN reports that in the Combine, Clowney displayed breathtaking athletic potential, blazing through the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Beside his speed and athleticism, scouts raved about 6-foot-5 and 266 pound frame and 83-inch arm span, seemingly making him an ideal edge rusher by NFL standards. Clowney's 40-yard dash was faster than all but one of the times posted by a current NFL starting quarterback---Robert Griffin III--- at the combine since 2006, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

"That's one of my goals here, to go No. 1,"Clowney told ESPN this week of his ultimate desires. "I came out of high school as the No. 1 player, so I want to come out of here as the No. 1 guy."
