Vince McMahon and the WWE have made a lot of budget cuts recently and reports indicate that some more releases and cuts could be coming soon for the company.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, McMahon has ordered for the WWE to make more budget cuts amidst some financial struggles in the company. Last month, it was reported that McMahon lost a lot of money through lackluster WWE Network subscriptions, a subpar television deal with NBC Universal and the WWE stock taking a hit.

The WWE released 10 Superstars, a referee, a head writer and an announcer last month in a series of budget cuts that are expected to continue as more jobs could be slashed to cut costs this month. McMahon has already scaled back on pyro and cut back on the road crew that helps assemble the set and ring in arenas for the company.

It's said that McMahon is also looking to scale back the WWE's NXT developmental expenditures and could trim down that roster as well as the main WWE one.

According to the report, the budget cuts are helping out the WWE as their losses won't be as large this year as the organization was expecting them to be just a month ago. The latest number going around for losses is still in eight figures for the company, which could lead to more jobs being lost.

There is a fear backstage within the company that more talents, agents and crew members will lose their jobs due to the wave of cuts that are expected to continue, and there has been some reported paranoia among lower-tier talents that their jobs may not be safe.

Last month, the WWE released Drew McIntyre, JTG, Jinder Mahal, Aksana, Curt Hawkins, Theodore Long, Camacho, Brodus Clay, Evan Bourne, Yoshi Tatsu and referee Mark Harris and then they released writer Jay Gibson a day later and announcer Josh Mathews at the end of the month.

It is a scary time for some Superstars and personalities in the WWE as McMahon has continued to order more cuts and there could be some more releases coming very soon.
