The Brooklyn Nets' locker room is full of questions, with Kevin Durant now practicing with the team. His jumper and slender-man cross-over across the thoroughfare are only some of his signatures that people want to see again.
Kyrie Irving, on the other hand, is also expected to make an impact. Coming out from shoulder impingement, he is now clinging to many possibilities to the team. His last game dated back to February 2019 during the All-Star break.
Kevin Durant last played with the Golden State Warriors before suffering a season-ending torn Achilles tendon in Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors defeated the Warriors, 4-2. In July 2019, he immediately agreed to a sign-and-trade deal with the Brooklyn Nets but was forced to rest until 2020.
In the video clip of Kevin Durant featured by For The Win, the 6-foot-10 forward was seen preparing for an attack against his teammate Joe Harris. For a Nets' fan, the short clip of Durant's training was an improvement on his part.
On the other hand, some people from Twitter threw harsh comments. Some commented that Durant could not get past Joe Harris. Others gave Joe Harris the credit for his defense.
For Kyrie Irving, his controversial return quickly went sour. The Brooklyn Nets' guard was fined $25,000 after bypassing the NBA media rules.
His statement, 'I do not talk to Pawns' is what cost him big time. Since the start of the training camp on December 1, the six-time All-Star had been rejecting interviews from the reporters.
On top of that, the Brooklyn Nets, without their two stars, came successful in their playoff pursuit. Who would have thought that a star-less team can make it to the contention?
Nets' backcourt duo of Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris LeVert made it possible. The two guards posted decent points each game, providing an all-out offense for the Brooklyn Nets.
Joe Harris, who was mentioned earlier in Kevin Durant's clip, transformed into a shooting machine. Throwing trifectas became his hobby when he was given a starting role.

Another break-out player was Jarret Allen. Allen fortified the Nets' wall throughout the season, nearly averaging a double-digit in rebounds with 9.6 and 1.3 blocks per game.
A few days ago, Steve Nash, the new coach of the Brooklyn Nets, said that he saw many improvements in Irving and Dinwiddie.
The two-time MVP praised the development of Kyrie Irving inside the camp. "I've been impressed so far in camp, I knew he was a good athlete, but he's just so mobile, he's like a cat, his agility, ability and sneaky athleticism."
For sure, Steve Nash has all the tricks in his sleeve. Upon his announcement, he will rely on the 'position-less' rotation and extreme versatility and flexibility.
Nash was an elite point guard during his Phoenix Suns' days. His coaching will now become a big boost to the point guards in his team.
"He's a big point guard who can play off the ball, can play multiple positions, can make plays for his teammates, and can score. So you've seen it in the past. He's played heavy loads for this team, so he gives us a lot of versatility," Nash said about Dinwiddie's' potential.
With now healthy stars on the team, several adjustments, including Dinwiddie's role, will be put at stake.
When Irving is back to one, Dinwiddie will return to the bench. The Taurean Prince will likely move also to the bench in place of Kevin Durant.
But in a statement from Nash, he might want to test the waters for Durant to play the center.
Joe Harris' contribution might diminish, as he will only become the fourth or fifth shooting option in the team.
Steve Nash's time will start now. The Brooklyn Nets will be put to test in their first game against the Washington Wizards this preseason.
