Sportswear giant Nike has pulled out the Nike Ja 1, the first signature shoe of Grizzlies star Ja Morant after he was caught flashing a gun on Instagram Live for the second time in two months.
The mid-top sneaker is now gone from Nike's online store, but it is still available in other retailers such as Dick's Sporting Goods and secondary resellers like StockX and Flight Club.

Nike Removes Ja 1 Shoe
The Beaverton-based company marketed the sneaker as "bulit for Nike Basketball's first signature Gen Z athlete," which was first worn by Morant on-court during their Christmas game against the Golden State Warriors.
The first colorway of the shoe was released to the general public last April, and it quickly sold out despite Morant's first gun incident already happening by that time.
Nike is scheduled to release another colorway of the shoe on May 25, and they still appear on the "upcoming" section of their SNKRS app but no longer on the main Nike app.
It remains to be seen whether the shoe will actually be released on the date mentioned above.
Several personalities have voiced their displeasure about the 23-year-old's actions, including ESPN analyst Michael Wilbon, who vowed never to buy his son Morant's signature sneakers.
Another ESPN analyst didn't mince his words, with Tim MacMahon stating that Morant "makes himself look like a total fool," and calling his shoe line "Ja One and Dones."
