One of the biggest stories in Major League Baseball this offseason was the defection of second baseman Robinson Cano from the New York Yankees to the Seattle Mariners after he agreed to a 10-year $240 million contract. However M's brass showed him the money, Cano may now be seeing some flaws in Seattle's lineup.
Robinson Cano feels disrespected by Yankees?
While there is no question that $240 million is likely enough to keep Cano happy, his recent comments about Seattle's lineup lead to the question of whether or not he'll be happy in a Seattle uniform after the Bronx Bombers significantly upgraded their lineup this offseason.
Cano said he believed the Mariners need to add another big hitter to their lineup, most notably from the right side.
"I'm not going to lie. We need an extra bat, especially a right-handed bat," Cano told CBSSports.com. "We have many left-handed hitters. We need at least one more righty. You don't want to face a lefty pitcher with a lineup of seven left-handed hitters."
Cano believes that the Mariners should re-sign Kendrys Morales, who is a switch-hitter and launched 23 homers for the Mariners last season.
"[Morales is] a switch hitter who's got power," Cano told CBSSports.com.

After inking Cano to a blockbuster deal in December, the Mariners added Corey Hart and Logan Morrison to bolster their lineup. The roster is heavy with lefties that include Cano, Morrison, Kyle Seager, Dustin Ackley, Michael Saunders and Brad Miller.
Since Morales played with the Mariners last season, it wouldn't cost the team a draft pick to sign him, which Cano thinks is the right move.
The All-Star second baseman also believes that the team could improve its rotation that is anchored by Felix Hernandez by signing free agent Ervin Santana.
"[Santana is] great," Cano told the site "The guy's always pitching; he never gets hurt."
Santana has proved durable over the last few years by making at least 30 starts in six of the last eight seasons, and he went 9-10 with a 3.24 ERA last season for the Kansas City Royals.
Cano also said he wished that the Mariners went after Nelson Cruz and Ubaldo Jimenez, who were each dangling in free agency into spring training and ultimately signed with the Baltimore Orioles.
"If it was up to me, we'd have Santana, Cruz and Ubaldo, too," Cano told the website. "That's really more for the front office."
Cano, 31, hit .314 in 160 games with the Yankees last season while launching 27 homers and 107 RBIs.
