Darren Sharper is due back in court in Arizona on Monday to face charges in an ongoing rape investigation.
A state grand jury indicted the former NFL star and Super Bowl hero for allegedly drugging and raping two women in Tempe late last year. The 38-year-old Sharper also remains under investigation in California, Louisiana, Nevada and Florida on similar charges.Thus far, he has only been formally charged in California and Arizona.
Can Darren Sharper get fair trial?
Sharper was denied bail in Los Angeles earlier this month, where he has pleaded not guilty and his attorneys have insisted any sex he has had with any of his alleged victims was consensual.
Since Feb. 27, Sharper has been held in the Los Angeles County Jail, where he surrndured on a fugitive arrest warrant obtained by NOPD.
A California judge had indicated last week he was inclined to release Sharper on bail before he was formally charged in New Orleans.

A 13-year NFL veteran, Sharper starred on the Saints 2010 Super Bowl winning team and was named to the NFL's 2000 All-Decade Team. Since retiring after that season he had worked as an analyst for the NFL Network before recently being terminated.
