Bill Goldberg return to WWE? [VIDEO] Goldberg talks about his negotiations with Triple H and a possible return, 'Would love to do it again'

Is Bill Goldberg getting set to go on another memorable winning streak? Probably not, but the former WCW and WWE Superstar - who went 173-0 in his WCW days before jumping ship to WWE when it went under - said he'd be open for a return under the right circumstances and admitted that he talked to Triple H in the past after previously denying the speculation that the two sides met.

There were rumors in the fall that Goldberg spoke to Triple H about a possible WrestleMania XXX appearance involving him taking on Ryback, though while he did in fact meet with Triple H, Goldberg said WrestleMania and Ryback plans weren't really part of the talks.

According to PWInsider, which spoke to Goldberg prior to WrestleMania XXX, the former superstar said that he had a few talks with Triple H in the past but none of the talks involved him facing Ryback and very few of them were geared towards a WrestleMania XXX appearance as they weren't very substantial.

There were reports that Goldberg turned down an offer to re-join the WWE due to being low-balled in the dollar amount and because the company's pitch to him wasn't convincing, however he said that the talks were just general conversations that didn't lead anywhere.

Goldberg said that he still trains a lot and that he would be open to a return, but it would have to be under the right circumstances.

"Would I love to do it again and have my son and my wife, who has never seen me wrestle? Abso-damn-lutely," he said via PWInsider. "Would I jeopardize what I've done in the wrestling world just to make that happen? No. So if I wasn't ready to do it, physically ready to do it, and it wasn't the right situation, I wouldn't do it just to do it. If that was the case, I'd probably be at WrestleMania this year. It just has to be right and if it's not right, then I'm retired, for good."

It remains to be seen if Goldberg will return to the company ever again, but the former WCW and WWE World Heavyweight Champion at least seems open to it.
