TNA Impact Wrestling spoilers and results for Thursday 5/1/14 featuring all of the TNA Sacrifice PPV fallout, Eric Young's next title defense, Willow's umbrella, Dixie Carter being banned from the arena and more:
Opening segment - TNA Champion Eric Young is backstage with MVP, Mr. Anderson and Gunner. Bobby Roode then interrupted the proceedings while MVP announced an endurance challenge for tonight. Everyone drew cards and the matches for Impact are Mr. Anderson vs. Gunner with the winner facing Bobby Roode. The winner of the second match will then face Eric Young for the TNA Title ... tonight.
Magnus comes out and does a promo in the ring on MVP's challenge excluding him. Abyss storms through the crowd and Magnus barely gets away.
In the next segment, Bully Ray comes out with a table that has the word "Dixie" written on it. Bully suffered a ribs injury at Sacrifice which was evident here, and he said if Dixie Carter is anywhere in the building, she will be put through that table.
--Endurance Match 1: Gunner defeated Mr. Anderson - James Storm tried to interfere to cost Gunner the match.
EC3 is now in the ring challenging Kurt Angle to a match next week on Impact. Tonight, Ethan will spar against Rockstar Spud. Angle interrupts the sparring session and tells EC3 he will bring him pain next week and end Ethan's undefeated streak.
--Endurance Match 2: Bobby Roode defeated Gunner - Bobby Roode will face EY for the title tonight.
When Will GFW Begin Running Live Events and How Worried is Dixie Carter about Jeff Jarrett?
Dixie Carter is up next with security guards. She brings out Bully Ray's special table reserved for her, and talks about being double-crossed a few months bacj at LockDown. She then brags about putting Bully through a table at Sacrifice. Bully Ray comes out and destroys the security guards and even picks up Dixie to put her in position for a Power Bomb through the table. MVP says that Bully can't do that and he bans both Dixie Carter and Bully Ray from the Impact Zone.
--Willow defeated James Storm -- Storm was DQ'd when when he shoved the referee and grabbed a shard of glass. Willow avoids the glass with his UMBRELLA OF DOOM, then Anderson hits the Mic Check on Storm to get revenge from earlier in the night.
The Beautiful People are next and they celebrate Angelina Love's TNA Knockouts Title win from Sacrifice. They called the crowd pathetic and did a strip tease, and then were interrupted by Gail Kim. Gail says the Knockouts division is built around both sexy women AND wrestling. She then says she will strip TBP of EVERYTHING before she's done with them. Gail then goes to attack Angelina and Velvet but they leave the ring, only to be confronted by Madison Rayne and Brittany, who rip off their dresses to end the segment.
--Sanada and The Wolves defeated The Bromans and DJ Zema
--Main event: Eric Young defeated Bobby Roode to remain TNA World Heavyweight Champion to close the show.
