Buffalo Bills Draft Sammy Watkins No. 4 Overall

With the No. 4 overall pick the Buffalo Bills have traded up to select Clemson wide receiver, Sammy Watkins.

Pros:
- Elite Speed
- Durable
- Intimidating stature and build
- Great first move off the line
- All the makings of an elite prospect

Cons:
- Disappeared some in 2012
- One off the field incident
- Worth trading away so much?
- Odell Beckham at No. 9 not worth it?

Analysis: The Bills trade up in the draft and get the dynamic wide receiver in Sammy Watkins. This is a huge pick for Buffalo as they get a guy who can bring out the best in EJ Manuel. This all but ends Stevie Johnson’s time in Buffalo and he could be included in the trade with the Browns.

The Bills wanted to trade up and they landed one of the four prospects that could be deemed elite in this draft and they did. Sure they may have given up way to much to get him, but in the end when the future of Manuel is on the line nothing is too risky. The Bills are building something special if Manuel can come around.

Grade: B
The amount the Bills gave up to make this pick hurts them some, but if it pans out and Manuel has a break out season, it is all forgiven. The Bills finally have a number one receiving threat in Watkins.

Other Picks:
1. Houston Texans: Jadeveon Clowney

2. St. Louis Rams: Greg Robinson

3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Blake Bortles
