NFL Draft Results Analysis: NFC North Grades; Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Steal of First Round? Eric Ebron a Reach? [VIDEO]

Now that the NFL draft has come and gone, the only thing left to do is look at who came out looking the best. Division by division, who had the best and worst drafts? Next up is the NFC North.

NFC East Grades

Chicago Bears:
Best Pick:
 Brock Vereen, S, Minnesota
Worst Pick: Defensive Tackle Value
Analysis: The Bears are certainly better than they were at the end of 2013 after free agency and a really good draft. The Bears set out to improve their secondary and could have found starters in the fifth round in Vereen and in their first rounder Kyle Fuller. The back-to-back tackle picks in the second and third is a little confusing as both were slightly reaches, but the Bears have brought in a ton of competition on defense.
Grade: B

Detroit Lions:
Best Pick:
 Kyle Van Noy, OLB, BYU
Worst Pick: Eric Ebron, TE, UNC
Analysis: The Lions took what they could in this draft as most of the players on their board were gone already at No. 10. The Lions could have looked at Anthony Barr and Justin Gilbert at No. 10, but both were gone by the time they had the floor. Van Noy is a great silver medal for missing on Barr and Ebron should provide a great target for Matthew Stafford.
Grade: C+

Green Bay Packers:
Best Pick:
Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, S, Alabama
Worst Pick: Richard Rodgers, TE, California
Analysis: The Packers stole Clinton-Dix at No. 21 and now they should be set at safety for the foreseeable future, but waiting so long for a tight end is interesting. The Packers needed a tight end and were a team rumored to be interested in Eric Ebron, but after he went to the Lions they waited a lot longer than I would have guessed.
Grade: A-

Minnesota Vikings:
Best Pick:
Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
Worst Pick: Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA
Analysis: The Vikings take a flyer on Barr who could end up being the bust of the draft, but redeemed themselves with the Bridgewater pick. The Vikings are starting to put the puzzle together and drafting Bridgewater in the first round guarantees they will have the fifth year option on him if he pans out.
Grade: B+
