NFL Draft Results Analysis: NFC West Grades; NFL's Best Division Gets Better? 49ers, Seahawks Add Best Depth? [VIDEO]

Now that the NFL draft has come and gone, the only thing left to do is look at who came out looking the best. Division by division, who had the best and worst drafts? Let's look at the NFC West.

Arizona Cardinals:
Best Pick:
 Logan Thomas, QB, Virginia Tech
Worst Pick: Deone Bucannon, S, Washington State
Analysis: I wasn't a fan of what the Cardinals did in the first round, but trading back saves them from completely bombing it. The rest of the draft was smooth sailing for the Cardinals as they hit on many of their picks while grabbing a project in Thomas. He is a physical freak who will have every chance to succeed in Bruce Arians system.
Grade: B-

Seattle Seahawks:
Best Pick:
Trading Back
Worst Pick: Too Many Developmental Players
Analysis: The Seahawks are the champs for a reason and it starts at the draft. Seattle is easily the best team in the league at developing talent and this draft should be no different. Until further notice, every Seahawk draft should be an A until they prove otherwise. Giving the Seahawks anything other than an A is setting yourself up to be embarrassed later. Remember when we ripped them apart for taking Russell Wilson?
Grade: A

San Francisco 49ers:
Best Pick:
Bruce Ellington, WR, South Carolina (from CLE)
Worst Pick: None
Analysis: The 49ers matched Seattle punch for punch, but with better talent for the immediate future. They got a great combination of talent that can play immediately and players that will play a role in the future. None of this matters to the 49ers because they “redshirt” all their rookies anyway. This could be the class a rookie plays extensively for the 49ers as Bruce Ellington could be something special.
Grade: A+

St. Louis Rams:
Best Pick:
 Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh
Worst Pick: Lack of Trade
Analysis: The Rams top off the division that had the best draft by knocking the first round out of the park on both sides of the ball. The Rams got quality talent at both No. 2 and No.13, but I would have loved it if they traded out at one of those spots. Adding extra picks for 2015 would have been a great idea as Sam Bradford’s future is up in the air after this season.
Grade: B+
