At the live event TNA Slammiversary PPV on Sunday, June 15, 2014, TNA Champion Eric Young will defend his title against director of wrestling operations MVP following his heel turn. That means that EY will also have to contend with Bobby Lashley and Kenny King at Slammiversary. Meanwhile, we have the latest rumors on Bobby Roode and Samuel Shaw being off of TV for all of the remaining episodes of Impact Wrestling leading up to the big show.

Notes on Bobby Roode and Samuel Shaw Being Off TV until after Slammiversary

As reported by The Wrestling Observer, Bobby Roode and Samuel Shaw were not part of the recent Impact Wrestling tapings that included all episodes through TNA Slammiversary. Reports The Observer, "Bobby Roode will be off TV indefinitely. After the angle that aired on 5/8 where he attacked MVP, TNA released a story that he has been indefinitely suspended for unacceptable conduct. This is a storyline deal. Roode wasn't brought in for TV's this week as they had nothing for him, so the earliest he could be back would be the 6/19 show."

The report goes on to state that Roode could come back as a baby face since MVP was the one who suspended him after his heel turn. Also, since Roode is a top star in TNA, there is no way he won't show up at Slammiversary in some capacity, in my opinion.

As for Samuel Shaw, after his character was sent to the "psych ward" following the PPV on April 27th, the rumor was that he wouldn't be back on TV because he wasn't part of the Impact tapings. However, Shaw did pop up back on Impact last week in some video packages that were filmed at the asylum, such as this one:
