With Club America still facing a roster overhaul, goalkeeper Moises Muñoz has now entered the fray. The 34-year-old goalkeeper reportedly no longer has a defined role with the club and is flirting with a possible transfer to Tigres UANL (per Fox Deportes' Ruben Rodriguez).

Muñoz was left off Miguel Herrera's 23-man roster for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Jesus Corona, however, did not agree with his omission and admitted he belonged (h/t to Luis Olivo on MLS's official website). "He did great enough job to earn a call to the Mexican national team for Brazil," Muñoz said.
"He's a professional. He does a great job and was a fundamental part in our qualification. It's lamentable that he's not with us at the moment," he added.

"I know the hopes Moises had to go to the World Cup. I know it's a great disappointment for him [that he didn't]."
With his international career all but decided, Muñoz must now turn to his attention to club matters. Should he ultimately decide to depart America, manager Antonio Mohamed will turn to Hugo Gonzalez as the club's first-choice keeper.
Added to the Muñoz transfer saga is the chase for the services of Lucas Lobos. The 29-year-old was transfer listed by Tigres UANL and would serve as a quality signing for any Liga MX side. The Club America board of directors, however, have made it clear that they will not pursue a transfer (per Ruben Rodriguez).
