The Blackhawks won the first game of the series 3-1 and the Kings bounced back with an astounding third period effort in Game 2 to come-from-behind and win 6-2 to take home ice away from Chicago.

The Blackhawks are coming off of dropping their first game on home ice in these playoffs, in a game that saw Los Angeles erase a 2-0 deficit by rattling off six unanswered goals, five of which came in the third frame.

"The way it turned on a dime like that, I don't know if we've seen a game like that all year where we're doing everything right and then all of a sudden it was a disaster," coach Joel Quenneville told the Chicago Tribune after Game 2.

The Kings have overcome adversity all postseason long, erasing a 3-0 series deficit in Round 1 against the Sharks and coming back from a 3-2 hole in Round 2 against the Ducks, winning both series' in seven games.

"Just sticking with what we need to do," Jeff Carter , who had a hat trick in Game 2, told CBS Sports. "You know, we got a good group of leaders in our room. We've been through comebacks and whatnot a lot lately. Obviously, not something we want to do. But we stick with it, grind it out, get the job done."

Carter is second on the Kings this postseason with 16 points off of seven goals and nine assists while Anze Kopitar leads the NHL playoffs in points (20) and assists (15) and has added five tallies. Marian Gaborik leads the NHL with nine goals this postseason and has added six helpers to rank third on L.A. with 15 points.
